Designer Clothing

She-Bible: Deirdre O’Boyle and Stacy Rodgers are two gals who work hard and play hard so they design clothes for both. Best friends since their junior year of high school, She-bible emerged from years of Deirdre and Stacy's laughing, loving, doodling and designing. It started in the kitchen with a hand-made screen printing press and has grown into a cut and sew label offering reliably sexy and comfy pieces perfect for kicking up dirt and kicking up your heels. All She-Bible goods are sewn and printed in San Francisco, CA.

Fashion Spy: These beautiful garments are inspired by the runways and a love for London Fashion. Fashion Spy's sequins and beads are hand sewn, and no automated machines or processes are used in production, which is why each piece is unique and different. Fashion Spy is a press favorite and has been seen on Sex and The City, featured on MTV's House of Style, displayed on more than one magazine cover and noticed on more celebrities than can be counted. The clothing produced by Fashion Spy celebrates the feminine, with a rich panorama of colors, embroideries and looks. It's safe to say that Fashion Spy is a company that's in the business of fashion for the long-haul, as they've created signature garments over the course of two decades that speak for themselves.

Makool: Anisa Makool is an independent designer based in Portland, OR. Anisa studied fine art, sewing and print making since childhood and received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Minneapolis College of Art and Design. Recently, she left her job writing fortune cookies so that she could devote all of her time to her clothing line, which features some of the most colorful women's pieces that are available on the market today.

J. Von Stratten Designs: If Betsy Johnson and Leigh Bowery had a love child, J. Von Stratten Designs would be the result. Since beginning her career in Seattle, WA in 2001, designer Jamie Stratten has had the vision to bring wearable art and functional fashion together as one. Primarily a private costumer, Jamie's creations are designed on an individual basis. It should be noted that Jamie works with some of the most nationally recognized burlesque and drag performers, and, therefore, her designs lean toward the sexy side.

Insurrection's designer collection is continually changing and therefore, at any given point in time, features many more designer labels than the above-mentioned four principle designers.
